RACHEL BLISS

Dorales' Picnic

"I did this painting for my god daughter's sister, Dorales. She hit puberty and was complaining that insects from every crack in the sidewalk were coming out to ogle her. She said she felt like a piece of meat being sized up to be butchered and eaten. Beneath her sectioned body is a home economics teacher leading her class on a tour."
